8th Annual POF Walk Event

The sun was streaming across the field early Friday morning as the students walked around the soccer field for the 8th Annual Parents of Friendship Walk Event.  Stations were set up along the route for students to participate in various activities such as jump ropes, hula hoops, and an obstacle course.  All of this was done in an effort to raise money for the school’s Annual Fund.  This year the money raised is going toward completing our 1:1 Initiative.  We have seen the educational value of the integration of technology at all grade levels and desire to get more tablets and Chrome books into the hands of the students.  Our goal is to raise enough funds to be able to complete this initiative a year early.

After the students completed the walk, they were treated to a Fun Day with food, games, face painting and lots of inflatables!  The new Photo Booth was a big hit as were the Wrecking Ball and Human Bowling.  What fun we had watching students (and some teachers) battle each other on the Wrecking Ball to see who would be the last person standing!  Of course, we all had fun watching some of our favorite teachers in the dunking booth!

The Parents of Friendship Walk Event/Fun Day is one of the highlights of our year!  We appreciate all who had a part in making this a fun time for all!
