Teacher Appreciation Highlights

We had a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week here at FCS. Our awesome parents spoiled the staff with more food than they could finish – so a lot of food! Our teachers enjoyed an exciting competition throughout the week. Staff was split up into different teams (countries), and these teams came up with mottoes, decorations, outfits, and anything else they wanted to use to show their team spirit.

The competition culminated in one final event last Wednesday during the regular teacher meeting time. Teams were tested on their riddle-solving skills, trivia knowledge, and absurd talents. Ask Mrs. Jeanine Kennon about her ankle trick… In the end, France came out on top and won the grand prize of $30 to any store of their choice. We had a blast competing! Thanks to Mr. Nelson and Mr. McClain for making this happen, and thanks to all parents and students that made us feel so appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week!
