This year has been alot of "First" for our family.  Our [son's] first year in school (Pre-K3) and our first experience with a school program. We would just like to take the opportunity to say "Thank you" to FCS. Our first year of many firsts has been a very wonderful experience.

The joy [he] experiences in coming to school everyday just to learn more about God has truly touched and helped our family grow in so many ways.

We thank God for FCS and everything you have given to our family this year.

My children started going to FCS 10 years ago when we enrolled my oldest son in the K-4 program. We now have three children at FCS, in 8 th grade, 6 th grade, and 3 rd grade. FCS has been a nurturing, loving, Christian environment and has also provided academics, fine arts and sports programs that fit our needs. The opportunities here have been exceptional. My children have participated in band, speech, baseball, cheerleading, choir, drama, poetry and my middle schoolers have placed post high school on every subject on their end of year SAT tests. They are receiving such a well-balanced program; we feel tremendously blessed to have the opportunity to continue sending them to FCS through high school.
My youngest child is a bit handicapped and FCS has treated him as a regular student and he is excelling academically and socially. I know when I drop him off at school, he is getting the nurturing atmosphere he needs, (the) next best thing to home-schooling him. At FCS, the environment allows children to be children and to be themselves. FCS encourages our children to be good Christians and model citizens. I get a lot of comments about how my children are still children, not miniature adults per the Hollywood, MTV, affectation.
FCS has been affordable for my three children to attend. We do have to sacrifice to send them to private school, but it is so worth it. We never have to go through the agony of choosing a school from year to year or worry about where they're going to be sent.
I can't say enough good things about FCS. The school is a blessing to my family and I'm sure will continue to be for years to come.

My son has only been going to FCS for a year, and we LOVE it! I taught 3 rd grade in public school for four years, and have a Masters in Education from UNC. I searched a long time for the right school for my son. When I visited FCS before deciding to enroll him, I noticed that the children were polite, well behaved, and yet having a great time! This school has mastered teaching discipline while still maintaining an atmosphere of fun, creativity, and acceptance. Also, as a Methodist that does not attend church at FCS, I have never felt like an outsider.

The small class size in my son's K-5 class has been wonderful, as he has had more one-on-one interaction than he would have received in a larger classroom. He has learned to read and is doing math well beyond the Kindergarten curriculum. His confidence is high, and he loves school. I really couldn't be happier. In addition, the communication between parent and school is effective. Every day, I receive a folder with information in it and/or paperwork from school. I can send the teacher notes in the folder and receive responses the next day. My son would tell you that his favorite part of going to FCS is that he gets to go to High School basketball games. I cannot wait to enroll my younger son in K-4 at FCS!

Our daughter has attended FCS since the fall of 2002 as a student in the K-4 program. Our family has been extremely blessed to have found such a solid school and ministry. We love and appreciate the wonderful teachers and their devotion to both students and the Lord. Thank you, FCS for educating our daughter as she grows in faith in serving the Lord.

Dear Friendship School,
This is my testimony about Friendship Christian School. I'm not a parent of a child who is in FCS. I am a loving and caring grandmother who has a granddaughter at FCS. [Edited] She has been going to Friendship since K-5 and plans are made; she shall attend FCS through the 12th grade. I think FCS is the best school and have the best teachers. [She] has had wonderful teachers each year. I believe FCS prepares the path of life for each child. We watch as they embark on life and what they'll be and trust in God, He has a perfect plan. Friendship School is so very special, with all the Christian teachers to help each child, how can they fail? FCS holds out a hand to all and considers each child extra special. The school has a certain warmth that make everyone love their school. There is a presence of the Lord all around. I truly believe and pray that FCS is here to stay; it's a good school, and all should love the teachers and help as much as possible.
