Achievement Testing

Achievement tests are given to all new K5-12th students who enroll at FCS. The results are used to determine academic deficiencies and to establish grade placement. Each spring, the Stanford Achievement Tests are given to all students in grades K5 through 8th grade to insure on-going academic development. The 9th graders take the EXPLORE (mandatory). The 10th graders take the PLAN (mandatory). The 11th graders take the PSAT (mandatory), ACT (recommended), and the 12th graders take the SAT (recommended) and ACT (mandatory).
