Class of 2016 – Fun Fact

Not only was the Class of 2016 the largest graduating class at FCS, but it also holds another fun distinction.  Two of the members of the Class of 2016 are children of FCS alumni who were both members of the Class of 1985.

Michael Peterson and Diane Mesley Braswell both graduated from FCS in 1985, and this year, their children Andrew and Hannah graduated together.  Both Michael and Diane were excited to have their children follow in their footsteps.

In addition, Andrew’s grandparents were the first staff members at the school.  His grandmother, Linda Peterson was the first teacher, and his grandfather Rev. Eddie Peterson was the first administrator.

Our mission as a school is to “provide a an excellent educational experience from a biblical worldview in order to produce the next generation of well-rounded servant leaders.”  FCS has had the privilege of  seeing this mission fulfilled with several “second-generation” students and alumni. We are blessed to watch our alumni pass along the godly, Christian heritage and education they received on to the next generation.
