Community Helpers in Preschool

Our preschool and kindergarten classes are started a new unit on community helpers! Over the course of a several weeks, they’ll be focusing on many different occupations that serve our community, and they’ll even get to hear from some real helpers! They began their unit today by hearing from Mrs. Ragsdale’s daughter, Shay, who works for the emergency medical services (EMS). Students watched a fun video, heard about what happens inside an ambulance, reviewed what to do if they ever need emergency medical help, and even got to listen to their heartbeats using a real stethoscope!
