Middle School (6th-8th)
Challenging academics and compassionate guidance at a pivotal age
Middle school is a time of transition, and FCS is committed to helping students and families navigate these unique years with grace and support. Middle schoolers are discovering their gifts, friendships, and academic strengths — and our teachers are here to cheer them on and lovingly guide them in biblical truth and character development. Students can thrive as they are appropriately challenged and nurtured during this crucial time of discovery.

Academic Growth
In middle school, students become more independent academically, while facing an increasingly challenging curriculum. Friendship students learn organization, self discipline, and study skills to master topics and concepts. Compassionate teachers lead small class sizes, preparing middle schoolers with skills for high school and for life.
Extra support is available through our Academic Success Center for qualified students who need special accommodations, including Tutorial Study Hall and Resource Math and Resource English classes. An honors math track starts in 8th grade for students who qualify.
Faith-Based Learning
The Bible is at the heart of all we do at Friendship Christian School. Not only is every subject taught from a biblical worldview, middle school students are given opportunities to grow in grace through a daily Bible class, weekly chapels, and a worldview class that help them infuse faith into every aspect of life as they mature. During these formative years, we pray students gain a deep understanding of their need for a personal Savior and a commitment to Jesus for a service-minded Christian walk.
Character and Service
Socially, our middle-grade students are challenged to develop godly relational skills and respect for teachers, peers, themselves, family, and others. Teamwork and discipline are strengthened through group projects, middle school sports, and fine arts. Teachers, coaches, and music directors encourage students develop Christlike character displayed in selfless service to others, valuing every individual as made in God's image.
At FCS, middle school students are challenged in a supportive environment as they develop character and confidence academically, socially, and spiritually — all for God’s glory.
