Christmas at FCS

The countdown is on here at FCS!

Christmas is just around the corner and our teachers and students are bursting with Christmas excitement.  Creativity has been flowing as the students are working together to create the perfect Christmas wreath for the Ultimate Christmas Wreath Competition.  Our Falcon families will vote online for the top wreaths as we determine who will win the wreath competition for this year.

While wreaths decorate each classroom door, music fills the FCS hallways.  The Pre-school, Elementary, Middle, and High school choirs have been perfecting their songs for the  Christmas Concert.

Our 5th -12th grade students who are involved in our various bands have been fine-tuning their instruments and working together to present their musical numbers. From our youngest to our oldest Falcon, this night is definitely a highlight of the school year!

The Christmas excitement will culminate on the last day of the semester before Christmas Break.  The FCS elementary Falcons will celebrate with elementary Christmas parties, while the middle and high school Falcon will finish the semester ice skating, eating pizza, and playing games together!

While the next few weeks will be packed with excitement our teachers and students are intentionally taking time each day to remember the reason for true JOY this Season.  Each day, time is set aside to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  It would not be until 33 years after the night Jesus was placed in a manger that the gift of his life would be given. This Christmas we celebrate the birth of our Savior knowing it was not only his life but his death and resurrection that gave each of us the ultimate Christmas gift.

We pray each of you has a Merry Christmas as we celebrate the gift of our Savior.
