Parents of Friendship
Welcome! Parents of Friendship (POF) exists to support FCS teachers and staff throughout the year and enhance parent/school relationships. Parents are vital to making our Friendship community thrive through service, encouragement, and communication.
What do we do?
- We provide meals and treats days throughout the year. We show appreciation by making these creative, fun, colorful, and meaningful for teachers and staff.
- We help keep the caffeine flowing for the teachers’ lounge to fuel their days.
- We host parent prayer meetings once a month. See the dates below for this vital ministry!
- We highlight special days throughout the year to allow you to personally encourage individual teachers. Find the 2024-2025 Teachers’ Favorites list here, where you can view teacher birthdays and favorite treats.
Check your email for ways to donate, serve, and volunteer throughout the year. You can contact Erica Baldwin, head of Parents of Friendship, via email.
2024-2025 Parent Prayer Meetings
Join us from 7:55 am – 8:20 am for a monthly prayer meeting for our students, staff, school, and community. This is a great way to meet other FCS families and one of our most vital ministries! We typically meet the first Tuesday of each month (depending on school breaks). This year’s dates are: Sept. 3, Oct. 1, Nov. 5, and Dec. 3, 2024; Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 4, April 8, and May 6, 2025.
Other Ways to Support FCS
Many other opportunities exist for getting involved, including athletics concessions, senior class parents, fine arts, fundraisers, field trips, sponsorships, and more. Look for details and direct communication from specific departments, teachers, or office staff.
For financial support, individuals can donate via the Annual Fund or businesses via sponsorship opportunities.
