Fundraising Goal Exceeded!
shareNovember 8, 2024
Thank you! Your generosity put Friendship Christian School OVER our $50,000 goal during our annual fundraiser, raising more than $54,000!
By donating and sharing with friends and family, donations from 33 states and 6 countries came in! Your generosity will help FCS remodel our science lab and outfit a robust elementary science cart, plus other exciting upgrades that will benefit all students at Friendship Christian School. FCS will also donate a portion of the funds to hurricane relief efforts in Western North Carolina.
We recognize the huge efforts of FCS staff, students, and families who played a crucial role in making this fundraiser a resounding success. Your dedication to our school is deeply appreciated. Most importantly, we praise God for His faithfulness to FCS!
Event Day
We wrapped up the fundraiser with a celebratory Event Day on November 6. See photos from our Facebook page from the Fun Run, Color Run, and Epic Dodgeball Tournament. The top three class fundraisers also cashed in on their “messy” rewards:
- 1st place : 5th Grade, dunk tank + “spaghetti sundae” Mr. McClain
- 2nd place: 8th Grade, dunk tank Mr. McClain
- 3rd place: 7th Grade, dunk tank Mr. McClain
It was a great day to celebrate all of the hard work toward meeting our goal! To continue to support FCS, you can donate any time via the FCS Annual Fund.
🏆In addition to cool Dude Perfect Prizes for individual students, students earned FCS rewards for the fundraising efforts.
FCS 2024 fundraising goals:
-
Level 1 goal $50,000 – This will allow us to overhaul and upgrade our secondary science lab and equipment as well as build a robust science supply cart for elementary teachers to use in their classes.
-
Level 2 goal $65,000 – This level will allow us to do the above as well as adding in some mobile Chromebook carts with Chromebooks for our upper elementary classes to use.
-
Level 3 goal $80,000 – Reaching this level will allow us to add moveable basketball goals and a pickleball net/court to the area at the end of the gym (which will soon be paved with asphalt) for elementary students to use during recesses and outside times.
-
This year, we will also donate some funds toward hurricane relief efforts in Western North Carolina.
